HBCU Schools are a source of great pride and accomplishment for the African-American Community. .
Here are Three facts , about HBCU Schools.
1) Black Greek organizations are commonly known as the Divine Nine or D9, referring to the nine fraternities and sororities that were founded between 1906 and 1963. .
2) HBCU marching bands are often the center of culture on campus and act as important ambassadors for their university off campus. Bands are central to the HBCU experience and serve as vital cultural features of HBCU life.
3) HBCUs are responsible for educating 25% African-Americans with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics degrees, according to the United Negro College Fund.
